I hope the gang who beat up the two coppers were hunted down and sent to prison for a very long time.
This lawless breed!
I sincerely hope, not only in the interests of balance, that there are as many incidents of coppers beating up these dregs of society.
I equally hope that any CCTV in the area develops mysterious technical faults at the time of any such "alleged" incident.
That is so depressing... the worst thing is that in most of those videos there is no way for a passer-by to help without being attacked themselves. You'd need about ten.

The footage on this sould be used as a tourist information film.
When the government realise that no-one wants to come and spend their tourist money in our green and pleasant land, then they may start making sure the scum get hefty penalties for this type of disorder.
Bunch of scumbags, that's why I am not bringing my kids up in the UK, and following a knife incident why I left the Police. sod that!

I think 50% of those fights would have ended in gunshots in the US. More shootings = less fights? I sometimes wonder.
I am joining this queue a little late but I am glad that some of you are proud to be British. I am an American, proud as well, and with great respect for the British, especially the London Police Service. As a retired police chief, I am all for the rule of law...for all people, even the dregs.
